# M365 Risk Detections

These alerts surface Microsoft's own anomaly detection for a tenant — pattern recognition and machine learning run by Microsoft, not Augmentt logic. They require a minimum of **Entra ID P1** licensing.

Because these alerts come from Microsoft's own risk model rather than Augmentt's location logic, they are **not** suppressed by Safe Locations.

| **Risk Detection Outside Country** `office365_ipcrisk_signin_outside_country` | Sign-in Risk      | High     | Microsoft flagged risky sign-in activity originating from outside the tenant's operating country. |
| **Impossible travel activity** `office365_impossible_travel_activity`         | Impossible Travel | Variable | The same user signed in from two locations too far apart to travel between in the time elapsed.   |
| **Atypical travel** `office365_atypical_travel`                               | Impossible Travel | Variable | A sign-in occurred from a location that's atypical for this user's normal travel pattern.         |
