# 1-Click Remediation

Where Auto-Remediation acts on its own for a narrow set of alert types, 1-Click Remediation puts a manual action one click away on **any** alert — you decide when to use it.

{% hint style="info" %}
1-Click Remediation is available to partners using Autopilot. If you don't have it yet and want to try it, reach out to <adam.bugera@augmentt.com>.
{% endhint %}

## Available actions

You can take these actions against either the actor or the target user named in an alert:

* **Lock down account** — a bundled action that resets the password, blocks sign-in, and signs the account out of all active sessions in one step.
* **Reset password**
* **Block sign-in**
* **Sign out of all apps**

## Where you can trigger it from

You don't need to be logged into Augmentt to act — the direct-click remediation links are included right in the alert email and in the PSA ticket Augmentt creates for an alert. You can also trigger any of these actions from the alert's details page inside the product.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://helpdesk.augmentt.com/modules/secure/alerts/1-click-remediation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
